Dark Horse Preview (Week of Feb 22)

Only two books out from Dark Horse this week too, but they’re both pretty terrific! Check them out:

DHP9
DARK HORSE PRESENTS #9 is an extraordinary issue of an already extraordinary anthology series. Included in this magnificent issue are a new story of Lobster Johnson by Hellboy mastermind Mike Mignola, Paul Pope brings the art thunder really cool story of the third and fourth men on the Moon, and the continuation of Brian Wood’s new The Massive series. If you don’t know those names, learn them. They’re some of the best talent in the business and these are a bunch of stories that prove it. The art is great, the stories are great. It is worth the cost of admission.

SW-DT-OW4
STAR WARS: DARK TIMES – OUT OF THE WILDERNESS #4 (of 5) is a story from the Prequel Trilogy era of the Star Wars universe, the twenty-first in the story, according to the comic’s info page. It’s also the second-to-last in an arc. But don’t let that scare you off! This comic has some really dynamic art, including a Jedi-on-“horse”back vs pretty-much-everyone-else chase scene. Things basically come to a head with some great action. Definitely excited for the final part of this story.

Check out these and more comics at your local comic shop or at Dark Horse Digital! Thanks to Aub Driver and the other fine folks at Dark Horse Comics for the preview copies!
